The Reason of my existence, ranting and philosophy by Ketan Parikh

Har ghadi badal rahi hai roop zindagi...
chaav hai  kabhi
kabhi hai dhoop zindagi
harpal yaha

ji bhar jio
jo hai sama
kal ho na ho...

Sings every Kal Ho na Ho fan while bawling their eyes out.

Zindagi...

such a beautiful word na! It is a Persian word زندگی‎ ) which means existence or life

It explains how

How every moment of life is changing

There might be shade while surely there will be the sun shining at you

Live through life as there is no tomorrow...

These lines might or might not apply to a 17 year old appearing for their 12th Board exams.

If I tell my mother, " I want to live my life like there is no tomorrow"
she might as well take a bat and start beating me with it.

I mean to say is that, how or in which way can I apply these lines in my life? What should I do to live my life like no tomorrow?

So... Google and Quora and every search engine being my agony aunts
I searched...

How to live life like there is no tomorrow!

A bunch of Insurance ads popped up.

And while surfing I came upon some insurance plan that said the premium of taking a ONE YEAR policy for Rs 1,00,00,000 is around Rs 10,000 only.

Stating it in the layman's term,

It says that the chances of someone dying accidentally in the upcoming year is less than 1/ 1000.
Commencing on the somewhat dicey statistics, there is at least a 99.9 percent chance that the person will survive the next year without accidently dying. But, the visual and the imaginary mediums have an impact of on our psychological being so much, that the policy is purchased and the feeling of impending doom and no tomorrow is rushed in the veins with slightly rising heart palpitations which creates even more panic.

Not to fear... Aparajita is here for your rescue.

This is a trick by the great insurance firms and the marketing firms to trick you to buy their insurances. The great marketing companies and clever businessmen try to exploit this fear and  create doubts so to convince you that you must live as if there is going to be no tomorrow.

I shouldn't say this though, I am thinking a of having a career in marketing. But marketing does a great job of creating doubt which further leads into clear fear amongst the human species.

HEY! I am not thinking a career in marketing because I want to create the doubt factors amongst. And I am not certainly thinking of money [ cha-chingggggg]

Let me state that first and foremostly!

Anyways... Career and stuff can come in the conversation later. Lets focus on zindagi or existence and how to make it worthwhile!
I did do a bit of R&D and this one blog of Quora written by a "Solitude_Seeker1107" popped up. And this person wrote :

The Secret to live your life in easy and simple 5 steps...

- SMILE!   : "Solitude_Seeker1107"
Aparajita : Macha, if I start smiling randomly no one day, everyone will think that I have taken a bit too much of stress and I have ultimately lost it.

- STOP TRYING TO ACHIEVE EVERYTHING: "Solitude_Seeker1107"
Aparajita : Arre! What is this! Look, it is but human nature to try to become overconfident and try to achieve everything. And as stupid it may seem, there are some people who can do that. For example, Ketan Parikh did manage to achieve his dream of eating a 3kg chocolate cake within 45 minutes. [ reference, Ketan is a classmate and he claims that he was the one who gave the world OnePlus's motto ]

TELL ONEPLUS to change their motto then. 'NEVER SETTLE' it seems.

-PURSUE YOUR PASSIONS : "Solitude_Seeker1107"

Aparajita : Okay to start with, I am a kid who's giving her 12th HSC exams. I HAVE NO PASSIONS right now. All I know and can pursue is, "What are the fundamentals of marketing, what are the ABC's of Marketing" and whatever stuff 12th std Balbharthi is trying to pull.

-LIVE IN THE PRESENT MOMENT  : "Solitude_Seeker1107"

Aparajita : One question, answer it and I'll be indebt of you. HOW.

-IMPROVE YOUR RELATIONSHIPS  : "Solitude_Seeker1107"

Aparajita : My brother in Christ, the people i talk to these days [ my board exam days] are my parents and my academics counsellor. And I am happy with whatever relation I have with them. I don't want them to turn into my homies. Miss Kuthunarkar and I are happy in a counsellor - counselee relationship. She said yes.

so, to conclude
Dear "Solitude_Seeker1107"

Please write things that you will be able to apply in your own life. I am guessing even you haven't found out the secrets of living your life. It is understandable in a homie kinda way. I mean I know what it feels like, when the entire HSC board, parents, family and the college is yelling you to study for your upcoming board exams and you want to unravel the secrets of your existence at the bloody same time.  But its like what Ketan says "Abh nahi toh kabh?" {If not now, then when } ( he claims that he was the one who said this first and then a certain band picked up and made the sentence into a song. )

Anyhoo,
Miss Kuthunarkar and my parents are waiting for me so we can discuss my future education. I will try to unravel the reason of my existence maybe after this meeting. Or maybe someday soon.

till then

Take care and keep living. Not existing. Oscar Wilde said that.
