Chai, Cold brew and Louis Litt ka chamcha

I see a red door  And I want it painted black No colours anymore I want them to turn black. Oh right, let me explain [ Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai Fans, are you proud?] One evening, in the monsoons.. I was watching an Al Pacino movie and it was a banger movie. " The Devil's Advocate" AMAZING MOVIE. Everyone should watch it. And found that the movie had given credits to a band named "The Rolling Stones" The movie had one of their songs. So, I checked out the song. And oh my stars.. I fell in love with that song. One of the lines goes like "No more will my Green Sea Go turn a deeper blue" Regrets, Loss, Pain, Dukh, Daard, Tanhaai, udas, nirasha, pida, Maut ka khauf such words were instantly related with this song.  I felt sad and broken hearted over the love and the heartbreak I didn't even face. My good friend, advisor and Maa's domestic assistant Shilpa Didi said and I quote "Are didi, yeh sabh kuch nahi hota.. sabh juuth muuth ka hota hai.. Pyaa...

Strangers

Strangers... Two strangers, complete opposite Fall in sight of each other. Two strangers, no less familiar Start talking to each other. Talks turn into long conversations, "they lose track of time". One confesses their love, the other says you are not mine. And so on goes the cycle, Two strangers, complete opposite Fall in sight of each other Two strangers, no less familiar Start talking to each other .                                             -   Aparajitaaa_

Sukha mhanaje nakki kay asata? (What is happiness?)

The word Happiness has many synonyms. My favorite is  आनंद (Ananda).  Ananda is a very unique thing!  Kasha tun hi milto   ( you can seek happiness from anything). Small things like watching a kitten or taking a whiff of the petrichor...(the smell of the soil after the rains) or big things like a baby holding your hand or maybe your parents saying that they are proud of you. BOOM! Happiness. But this happiness theory is a bit difficult and a bizarre thing. Some say you have to strive hard for it or some say  काय पुण्य असलं की ते घर बसल्या मिळत (What virtue it is to receive everything while sitting at home ) .  As it is beautifully said when googled ,  Happiness lies in the joy of achievement, the thrill of creative effort. The human spirit needs to accomplish, to achieve, to triumph, to be happy. But again, if happiness can be derived from anything why should one fight for it! And who ever said that - ' Happiness comes from within..'   ही अंधश्...

The Reason of my existence, ranting and philosophy by Ketan Parikh

Har ghadi badal rahi hai roop zindagi... chaav hai  kabhi kabhi hai dhoop zindagi harpal yaha  ji bhar jio  jo hai sama  kal ho na ho... Sings every Kal Ho na Ho fan while bawling their eyes out. Zindagi... such a beautiful word na! It is a Persian word (  زندگی‎  ) which means existence or life  It explains how How every moment of life is changing There might be shade while surely there will be the sun shining at you Live through life as there is no tomorrow...  These lines might or might not apply to a 17 year old appearing for their 12th Board exams. If I tell my mother, " I want to live my life like there is no tomorrow"   she might as well take a bat and start beating me with it.  I mean to say is that, how or in which way can I apply these lines in my life? What should I do to live my life like no tomorrow? So... Google and Quora and every search engine being my agony aunts I searched... How to live life like there is no tomo...

Hellos and Greetings to all

Hello and Greetings to all. Me? I am Aparajita. The creator of this Blog. This is a rabbit hole by the way.  Once you start reading, I assure you, you will be invested. Before you do get invested, let me give a brief introduction. Again, Hi. I am Aparajita. I am a Liberal Arts student with the flair of story telling and a deep love for writing. I love putting my hilarious, loved and cherished experiences to my laptop.  What fuels me to do this? Well, the late night eureka ideas, the caffeine runs and the fact that I hold the ability to make people laugh.  I am not getting ahead of myself, I am just stating the truth, milord. Yes. I am very dramatic that way.  You will see that in my writings and pieces.  This is a small nook of the internet that has been curated.  Enjoy while roaming in it.  Signing off - The Madman, aka  Aparajita 🌠
